Write Your First Post
Give a title for your first post and write an introduction on your blog topic and create the
first impression look good. After completing the post, DO NOT PUBLISH immediately
but, SAVE AS DRAFT since you need to make certain settings to help SEO of your blog.
Configure Your Settings
You need to configure your blog settings in order to achieve good SEO and visibility in
the blogosphere.
Make sure that all these settings are saved correctly.
Settings>>Basic
Enter a short but good note on the description column since this will be visible under
your blog title on all pages. Moreover, you need to add your specific keywords of your
topic in your description as it will help in SEO of your blog. Make sure all the settings
are set similar to the screenshot and then save the settings from the button below.
Settings>>Publishing
Confirm that the ‘Send Pings’ colum is set to ‘Yes’. This will enable blogger to announce
your blog to most of the blog directories whenever you make a new post. Save the
settings and move on.
Settings>>Formatting
Just make sure that all the settings below are similar and then save the settings from this
page.
Settings>>Comments
These settings also should be similar.
Publish Your Post
Congrats. You have made all the required settings for a good SEO and now you are
ready to shoot your first post. Click on the Posting>>Edit Posts tab and publish
from the button below!

Your blog post is now published successfully. Click the View Blog link to see you
blog, Live!
Create More Posts
To be active on the blogosphere, you need to constantly make new posts. And in
order to monetize you blog, you need to register primarily with Google Adsense
Program. Before applying for an Adsense Account, make sure that these basic
guideline are followed;
1. Make at least 6 posts
2. Do not make more than 3 posts a day
3. Posts should be at least 150 words each
4. Complete your profile details on your blogger account.
After verifying these basics, you can apply for Adsense Account. An easy guide follows
in the next chapter to navigate you to complete the application formalities
